Nicole Benbow is a Turtle Island Metis woman who works with Gabriel Dumont Institute. She will be joining us for Bonding thru Play and will bring some different items and artifacts for families to see, touch, and learn about Metis culture with.
Sip & Chat with Canadian Mental Health Association
Sip & chat is time for caregivers to come have coffee and connect with others while our program facilitators play with the children in the centre! This is the only program lead by facilitators that has child-minding. Chalaine from Canadian Mental Health Association will be here to chat with any moms who may need some extra support.
This is a drop-in program and for caregivers with children age 0-5.
Bonding thru Play with an SLP
Chat with a Speech and Language Pathologist- Bonnie Quiring Gallen, who is a Speech and Language Pathologist with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, will be coming during drop-in play to chat with families to talk about speech.
Parent & Baby (0-2)
This is a free program to families with children ages 0-2 to come and participate in parent and baby bonding through play, fine and gross motor activities, arts + crafts, and sensory activities; while fostering and nurturing the connection between caregivers and their babies. This is a come and go program, please come at your convince and build beautiful memories with your little!
Lil' Scientists
Come join us for Lil’ Scientists ages 3-5 where children will conduct science experiments facilitated by our program facilitators!
Tummy Explorers
Tummy Explorers is for caregivers to bring their babies and explore many different ways to encourage tummy time! We will have different mats and activities to try with your little ones!
This program is for ages 0-1.5 and is a drop-in program
Sip & Chat with Calm After the Stork
Sip & chat is time for caregivers to come have coffee and connect with others while our program facilitators play with the children in the centre! This is the only program lead by facilitators that has child-minding. Jill from Calm After the Stork will be here to talk all things postpartum.
This is a drop-in program and for caregivers with children age 0-5.
Practical Life Skills
A Facilitator led program to educate your little ones on everyday life skills and selfcare habits. This is a age appropriate program inspired by the Montessori philosophy fostering independence and healthy behaviors.
This is a program for children age 3-5. Drop-In at a time that works best for your family.
Tummy Explorers with Myranda Reimer Physiotherapy
Tummy Explorers is for caregivers to bring their babies and explore many different ways to encourage tummy time! We will have different mats and activities to try with your little ones! The program today will also be joined by Myranda Reimer from Myranda Reimer Physio. She will provide general information for kiddos regarding their development, baby massage, and other questions you may have.
This program is for ages 0-1.5 and is a drop-in program

Myranda from Myranda Reimer Physio will be part of this session for moms who are seeking information regarding pelvic health or strength development following birth.

This is the only program lead by facilitators that has child-minding. Dr. Sami, a Naturopathic Doctor, from The VillageYXE will be joining us for this program
This is a drop-in program and for caregivers with children age 0-5.
Family Art Piece
In collaboration with Warman Arts Centre, we are working to create a community paper quilt with work from all of our MWEYFRC families. We are wanting to build connection, belonging, and a strong community in our centre. This quilt will be displayed in our centre
